Boston

I'm writing ya'll from Boston, MA. I arrived just before midnight on Sunday. The past few days I've been doing training with L.E.K. Honestly, it's been pretty dull so far. Not because the training and presentations aren't useful, but because I went through the exact same training and presentations before starting my internship this Summer!

Alright, I have learned some things. It's kind of like watching a movie for the second time; I've been picking out little details that I missed the first time through. One thing's for sure, I learned a TON this Summer. We did an exercise in Powerpoint where we had to make 6 slides from scratch. I was done in about 15 minutes... I finished an hour before anyone else. I'm not saying that to be cocky (truth be told, I was the slowest with Powerpoint when I did the same training this Summer), I'm just trying to emphasize how much L.E.K. taught me in such a short amount of time!

Next week should be more useful, since all of the presentations will be presentations I've never seen before. Other than that, not a whole lot to say. I am SO happy that we're going to the LA office instead of the Boston office. The culture is very different at the two offices. Not better or worse at either place, but I definitely prefer the LA culture for myself.

Anyhoot, there're my ramblings about where I'm at right now.
