Time seems to be slipping away from me. Especially in the blogging realm. We don't have internet at home so it's hard for me to check my email and blogs regularly now. It was much different when I was lying in bed all summer with my trusty laptop. I've been keeping myself busy with my scrapbooking business. Ryan thinks it's cool when he finds me working and it's not in my scheduled work hours. Yes, I have to schedule my work hours to keep myself on top of things, but like I said I kind of like working on it at other times.
So pregnancy update. You can skip if uninterested in the ways of women.
I'm almost 18 weeks pregnant. I haven't been feeling so well the last couple of days and I hate that I don't know why. Ryan keeps saying, Well, you are pregnant. Yeah yeah, but besides that. I mean it was different when it was "morning" sickness. That went away when I was in my 2nd trimester. I wonder if something is wrong. I wonder if it's because I haven't been getting enough sleep. I wonder if I have gestational diabetes (which I'll hopefully get cleared up this Friday). I wonder if I'm just sick. Lot's of wondering going on.
Anyway, I'll be going down to AZ to spend time with my fam and watch the kids while my mom has surgery. I also have an appointment down there to find out what I'm having. However, Ryan won't be making the trip. My mom got a cool coupon for this place that lets you do a 3d imaging ultrasound. The best package lets you have pictures and video which would be fun to bring back to Ryan.
We won't be disappointed with having either a boy or a girl, but we hope to have a boy first. We want that first grandson. :-) Or we'll have to see if the Macdonald tradition continues and we add the 6th granddaughter. Either way really we'll be happy.
Hopefully pictures soon. I'll have to bring my pictures on my jump drive next time I get to the internet.

well.. you'll learn this.. everyone has advice for you when you get pregnant/have a baby... so i thought i'd leave just a little note of advice. Trust yourself. If you're even a little concerned call the doctor and explain what's going on. All my doctor's have told me that as a parent (even before the kid is born) if I'd a concern then bring it up.. because for some reason (Heavenly Father..) mother's can tell when something is going on with a child, good or bad, they just know something is going on (not always even bad). But to bring it up even if you don't completely understand it.. So that's my advice.. it doesn't hurt to ask.. and don't doubt concerns you have because you feel them and can't explain them!!! Okay. That's it!
I'm saying not worry about how you are feeling, but being pregnant you just have weeks when you don't feel for no reason. Just make sure you are taking your vitamins everyday. Wow that made me sound like a mom. I how you're ultrasound goes good and you can find out what you are having. That is always a great day! When I get my ultrasound the did 3d shots and took lots of pictures and put them on a CD for me, so made you will get lucky and get double!
I agree with both of them. It never hurst to call and ask your doctor, even if it's just for your own piece of mind. After that, don't worry too much. I am so glad to hear that you are going to be in town!! Is this another quick visit, or will you have extra time? Do you know what day you are coming? If your're here for the 18th maybe you can come for my baby shower. I'd love to hear any updates. Love ya
I agree with all of them! If you feel you have unanswered questions, Don't hesitate because you don't want to "bother" your OB. That's there job. And if you have any questions about medicine let me know.(Of course my answer may just be ask your OB) If that nausea is different that morning sickness that could be something simple or more complicated. Either way, it's pretty common. My wife lost 23 pounds her first semester. It's different for everyone though. Like they told you, trust yourself. Also, some prenatal s doses of iron can be a source for some womens nausea, if this is a possibility, before stopping it, try taking it with a meal. And good luck! We're so excited for you guys!
