Life as it is...

We're less than two weeks away and we still have plenty to do. As we just barely finished scanning/color correcting pictures and picking out songs, this will officially be the fastest wedding video I've ever done. Having Rachel do the color correction instead of me, it'll also be one of the best. Again, as I think I've mentioned before, having Rachel, Mom, and Rachel's Mom working on the receptions, I feel relatively little of the actual stress.

The last couple of weeks I've been spending time talking to a plethora of friends of Tommy's and everyone else I could get in touch with to try and decide what I want to do as far as a career goes. I used about half of our monthly phone minutes last week talking with people, trying to find out as much as I could. With Rachel and I both graduating in April, we're trying to make plans for where we'll go afterwards. Interviews start in October and there's more than a lot to do to get ready. Being Tommy's sibling has helped out a lot in this regard.

Otherwise, life pretty much continues as always. Running like crazy from morning to evening and still getting done only a fraction of what needs to be accomplished. But I couldn't be happier with life as it is and where it's headed. I'll soon be marrying the girl of my dreams (even if she does make me watch Pride and Prejudice with her) and with any luck, I'll also be pursuing a career of my own educated choice. Life is good.
