So Rachel and I were talking the other day about blogging. Honestly, 90% of our lives have been consumed by getting ready to get married, so there's really nothing else to blog about. We couldn't help but wonder how much, if at all, anyone cared. So I suppose if you don't care, there's really no point in reading for a couple of weeks, because that's all you're gonna be hearing about.
I can't believe we can count the number of days until we're married on one hand. It's really fast approaching and somewhat surreal. When is everyone flying/driving down? Rachel's headed down Wednesday morning, and I'm going down Thursday morning. If you have any questions as to when/where things are taking place, please let us know.
In other news, we got a call from our photographer the other day asking us to change the time/date of our pictures. Turns out we'll be photographed the day before the wedding (Friday) at 6:00 a.m. After the wedding on Saturday, we'll ask that family/friends stick around for a mere 30 minutes to get a few group shots. We hope this will cause a lot less stress for everyone involved. Everyone will get to sleep in a bit longer wedding day, and everyone (except for Rachel and me) will be dedicating less time to getting their pictures taken in the hot sun. In exchange for changing the date/time of our pictures, the photographer gave us some pretty sweet deals. I know Rachel was going to blog about that though, so I'll let her do so.
Now, for something non-wedding related, I'm way stoked to be done TAing for the "International Trade and Finance" class Summer term. It hasn't been the most pleasant experience. I administer and grade the final on Wednesday, then I'm done. I'm signed up to TA for the same class in the Fall. However, I sent an email out to some professors of other classes and I have a pretty good shot of TAing the intermediate microeconomics course instead (assuming the powers that be let it happen and that they can find a suitable replacement for the class I'm currently signed up for).
Ok, I think I've slipped into the realm of "rambling" so I'll stop. Thanks to everyone out there for your love, support, and help with so many things. I hope all is well. Keep it real.
