Finished Painting

I finally finished the painting of Grandma and Grandpa Mangum. We decided to give it to them as their Christmas present. Since we are leaving tomorrow I had to finish it Sunday because that was the only day we would see them. It was still wet when we gave it to them, but they didn't seem to mind. I'm posting my painting process mainly because I like to see what changes I made along the way.


Here is the first picture again.


Here I toned down the rug and couch. I filled in the wall and added a few more touches.


I changed Grandpa's shirt to blue since the painting was all kind of washing out. I darkened the wall too even though it's not that dark in real life. I made a few more adjustments.


And here is the finished product! Ta da! I saved the faces until the end because it was so hard. Can anyone tell it's them?
