Death of my Mac

My poor poor Powerbook met an untimely death last week. Well, it didn't actually die otherwise I'd be super upset. See I had some soup and after I was done instead of taking it to the kitchen like a good girl I set it on the floor. Sometime later my mac ended up next to it. Sometime after that Ryan's foot ended up next to it as well, displacing the harmony of the world and joining soup and mac together. The screen stayed blank although I could see it just barely. After some valiant efforts of revival on the part of my husband he couldn't do anything to fix it (even though he is a vocal mac hater I don't blame him, he knows how important it is to me and it was my soup). We had been hooking up my mac to the tv and using that to watch movies, so at least for now we can see the screen.
I'm just glad nothing was lost. I haven't exactly backed anything up in a while...like...ever...

We are hoping to just upgrade to a iMac anyway. I won't need the laptop portability anymore, since I am done with school. It was just cool to take my computer anywhere I wanted. The big screen real estate is something I can't pass up though. I'm very excited.

The death of a computer is sad. I know how you feel. At least you didn't lose anything, and you now get a better computer.

yeah, i did call you a few days ago. not weeks, don't worry. I was curious when you guys were coming back and to let you know I'm sorry, we thru away those chicken thighs. I was saving them to give back to you when you got back. But we inherited more food from Michael and Amarisa and not everything would fit. I suppose I should stop trying to think of my one freezer as a big freezer.

And I am glad you are coming back soon. I am bored as all heck and desperately need a friend.
