We've had a pretty crazy week or so that's left our life in some disarray. We were having a friend over for dinner and decided to clean up a bit before he came over. Rachel was walking around in the living room barefoot and noticed that the carpet was a bit wet. It turns out that a bit wet was actually "drenched" in several areas, and damp around a pretty large radius. We continued looking and found that the carpet in our bedroom was also pretty wet. Our landlord came down and had a look. To make a long story short, our guest ended up helping us move furniture out of the bath of the water.
Our room and living room are now pretty disorderly. It turns out there was a pin-sized hole in a pipe. Walls have holes in them, carpet is pulled up, furniture damaged, etc.
In other news, we got ourselves a pretty nice keyboard with weighted keys and a full range. Of course, our timing was a bit off for buying it, as our room is now just more cluttered than ever. Such is life.
Now let me take the chance to recommend that everybody see the Bee movie. Absolutely hilarious. Any movie where Winnie the Pooh gets tranquilized is well worth seeing. And that's all I suppose. Peace
