Saturday held some memorable events as Rachel met the Mangum family...all 3,456 of us. My grandparents had 9 kids...all of which were very "fruitful". There is now a legacy of more than 50 great-grandchildren (and about that many grandchildren) with 3 (4?) more on the way. While I don't envy having to marry into such a large family, I think I can safely say that Rachel already knows more names than I do.
In other news, the trip to Cabo is less than a week away (is there a better word to use than excited? Because that's just not a strong enough word if you ask me). We're looking forward to the surfing, parasailing, spa treatment, etc. Rachel got a little jealous when I requested the 4-hand massage treatment, so I settled for a 2-hand massage, gentleman's facial, manicure and pedicure, and aloe-vera treatment. Life is really rough.
While we await this trip with jubilee, the week leading up to it is gonna be jam-packed. When we get back it will only be a month left before the wedding. We have invitations to design, cut, print, deliver, etc. We really haven't started on our video yet, which will be another major project. However, Rachel's gorgeous wedding dress (or at least I'm told it's gorgeous) is hanging with a sheet over it in my parent's basement. At least we've accomplished something! (Simpsons, The Office, Work, Sleep and other distractions have been interfering lately...) Have I mentioned that trying to find addresses for 400 people really bites? Because it does.
You stay classy.
